I do work as Social activist for an NGO. Once we planned take poor kids to Manali. There were two reasons behind it. One I Just wanted to see the smile on their face, Manali is blessed by nature, beautiful sights of valley and high mountains make anyone smile. Second HP government was running a programme that includes giving free education for poor children and to make them self dependent. I just checked on net about Omega Travels Manali and found website of Indiatourtrip.com.
They were offering exciting Kullu Manali tour packages. Since my NGO is Delhi based, I searched for Delhi to Manali packages. I found interesting Omega Travels Manali packages. But since our budget was not that much high, we requested them to offer some budget package, when Omega Travels Manali came to know about our NGO and the reason behind the tour, they even gave us discount on their budget package. Budget package includes room rent, food, sightseeing etc.
They even promised us to give food facility for poor child on half rates. There was facility to go for online payment, so I initially paid some of the amount and the very next day we left for Manali. We reached at Manali at scheduled time, Omega Travels Manali cab has reached station before time, they took us to hotel Muresh where our rooms has been booked by Omega Travels Manali. The hotel was built in the lap of nature and its infrastructure made its more beautiful, when I had a first look on hotel Muresh, I thought how a hotel of this standard is charging so less.
But later on I came to know that they were doing so to increase tourism in city. In the evening Omega Travels Manali driver came on time and took us to the camp where HP government campaign was going on. I was surprised to see that it was sponsored by Omega Travels Manali. They not only give solutions for tourism but also take interest in social activity. The big corporate should take a lesson from Omega Travels Manali who hesitate to spend on corporate social responsibility.
